Biblical Leadership

The Elders are committed to shepherding and leading everyone who calls First Christian their church home. Their leadership of FCC is defined in three terms: They guide the church in the way of Christ, they guard us by defining our borders, and they govern us by holding us accountable. They take seriously their charge to bring honor to the bride of Christ, His church. We ask that you lift up our elders in prayer as they are responsible to God for the flock that is “among them”  (I Peter 5:2; cf. Hebrews 13:7, 17; 1 Thessalonians 5:12, I Peter 5:2-3, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Timothy 3:1-7).
